Supportive energy. Initiative lands well.
Every day in Chinese astrology has a unique energy fingerprint called the Day Pillar. Today's is Yang Wood Rat. Think of it like the weather forecast for your personal energy: the Wood element sets the mood, and the Rat branch shapes how that mood plays out.
Wood energy today: Favors growth, planning, and new beginnings. Good for starting things.
Your Week
Creative energy flows freely, but it flows outward. By evening, you'll have made beautiful things for everyone except yourself. The creative energy is flowing out. Capture at least one piece for yourself before it's all given away. A Rat day for a Rat. The doubled energy is unmistakable. Channel it or it channels you.
Professional energy is even-keeled. Your Rat resourcefulness doesn't need a crisis to be valuable. Today, the sharpest tool in the drawer is preparation.
Emotional energy is steady. Your Rat attentiveness makes someone feel genuinely seen today, and you didn't even have to plan it. That's instinct, not effort.
Best Move
Help someone, but set a time limit
Watch Out
Resentment building behind a helpful smile. The midday window (11am-1pm) is your weak spot today. Coast through it rather than fighting it.
In BaZi, when your element feeds the day's element, it's called Shang Guan: your energy nourishes the environment at personal cost.
Today's Eating God archetype means your creative output is elevated. Whatever you make today has a spark. The workplace rewards your creative contributions today. Lead with imagination, not just execution. Love flows through shared pleasure: a great meal, a beautiful sunset, laughter that doesn't stop. Here's the reframe: being the person everyone draws from means you're the person everyone needs. That's not a burden. That's evidence you have something worth giving.
The Rat branch brings a resourceful, strategic tone to the day. Everyone's mental gears spin a little faster.
Friday rewards generosity: toward others, toward yourself. Lighten the load before the weekend. Summer heat makes patience harder. Build in more margin between stimulus and response. Trust the momentum. It knows where it's going even if you don't. Lucky color: gold. Lucky number: 1. Favorable direction: West.
Eating God. Creative expression peaks.
